在美國(guó)， 歷史教科書(shū)中有89％的故事是關(guān)于男性的，女性的歷史是一個(gè)很少被人提及的重要話(huà)題。三月是女性的歷史月，美國(guó)一款利用AR增強(qiáng)現(xiàn)實(shí)技術(shù)的App上線(xiàn)——Lessons in herstory，重寫(xiě)女性在歷史書(shū)中的地位，歷史 (History)不再是男人為男人寫(xiě)的歷史。
Herstory重新改寫(xiě)了美國(guó)最受歡迎的歷史教科書(shū)——“美國(guó)歷史”第5冊(cè)上（1820年至1860年），學(xué)生通過(guò)掃描書(shū)上男性的歷史人物，就能解鎖歷史上同一時(shí)期未被提及的相關(guān)女性人物的故事。
目前，該應(yīng)用程序包含了19世紀(jì)時(shí)期75位相關(guān)的女性歷史人物，其中包括： Annie Oakley，Harriet Tubman以及Cathy Williams。
隨著AR技術(shù)的發(fā)展，現(xiàn)在只需要通過(guò)一個(gè)手機(jī)鏡頭，就能證明這不是一個(gè)男人的世界。
