“滾”材質(zhì)藝術(shù)展@烏鎮(zhèn)國際設(shè)計周
“滾”，是一種卑微而偉大的起始姿勢，俯身、推動、與大地摩擦，一種將渙散轉(zhuǎn)化為凝聚的力學，在重復(fù)的圓周運動中，混沌漸成秩序；呈現(xiàn)出一種永未完成、始終在途中的創(chuàng)造狀態(tài)，抵達非目的，滾動即意義。
"Gun" is a posture of beginning that is both humble and great—bending down, pushing, friction with the earth. It is a mechanics that transforms dispersion into cohesion. In the repetition of circular motion, chaos gradually gives way to order. It presents a state of creation that is never finished, always on the way—arriving at no destination, where rolling itself is the meaning.
創(chuàng)新不是天才的靈光，不是資源的堆疊；創(chuàng)新，是當你認清萬物皆可為材，并愿意為之俯身、開始第一推的勇氣。所以，當你來到烏鎮(zhèn)國際設(shè)計周，來到這個由沙石、坑洞與軌跡構(gòu)成的現(xiàn)場，即是與我們共同完成一次證明：世界并非天然存在，世界是在一次次“滾”中，被我們親手建構(gòu)出來。
Innovation is not a flash of genius, nor is it the stacking of resources. Innovation is the courage to recognize that everything can become material, and the willingness to bend down and make that first push. So, when you come to the Wuzhen International Design Week, to this site made of gravel, potholes, and tracks, you are joining us in completing a proof: The world is not pre-existing—it is constructed, again and again, through rolling.
創(chuàng)造并非拘泥于天馬行空，也并非局限于奇思妙想，很多時候，材質(zhì)本身即是創(chuàng)造，我們聯(lián)合松下、漢榮石材、黃鉛筆獎、東洋桑、墅標、極鋼、中國椅子、加減藝術(shù)等12個品牌，在烏鎮(zhèn)國際設(shè)計周1號館1000平米空間，一起打造了以“滾”為主題的材質(zhì)藝術(shù)展，將百件展品，以沙石的粗糲場景進行展陳，讓材質(zhì)本身的造物感與沙石的原生態(tài)進行對撞，并由此產(chǎn)生反思與對話。
Creation is not bound by wild imagination, nor is it limited to whimsical ideas. Many times, the material itself is creation. Together with 12 brands—including Panasonic, HanrongStone, Yellow Pencil Award, Dongyangsang, Shubiao,Jigang, Chinese Chairs, and Jiajian Art—we have built a material art exhibition themed around "rolling" in a 1,000-square-meter space at Hall 1 of Wuzhen International Design Week. Featuring hundreds of exhibits displayed in a raw, gravelly setting, the exhibition allows the materiality of the objects themselves to collide with the primal nature of the gravel, sparking reflection and dialogue.
