跟繪畫(huà)相比,攝影是那么年輕的圖像媒體。這次《時(shí)代周刊》邀請(qǐng)到來(lái)自全世界的策展人、歷史學(xué)家、圖片編輯等組成選片專(zhuān)家團(tuán),選出了攝影誕生以來(lái)最有影響力的100張照片。無(wú)疑,這是一個(gè)非常冗長(zhǎng)費(fèi)力的過(guò)程,在同攝影師、相片主角、以及他們的親友等進(jìn)行了幾千次訪談后,編輯部才最終敲定了這 100 張來(lái)自各個(gè)時(shí)期不同主題的當(dāng)世之作,并挖掘了許多背后的故事。

也沒(méi)有一個(gè)方程式去決定一張相片夠不夠“有影響力”,有些是某一門(mén)類(lèi)攝影題材的鼻祖,有些啟發(fā)了我們的思考,還有一些則直接改變了我們的生活。

“這100張相片所共有的特點(diǎn)在于,它們是我們?nèi)祟?lèi)經(jīng)驗(yàn)上的轉(zhuǎn)折。”負(fù)責(zé)此次專(zhuān)題的《時(shí)代周刊》編輯團(tuán)隊(duì)寫(xiě)道。


在選定名單的過(guò)程中,編輯部也重新認(rèn)識(shí)到一個(gè)貫穿近兩個(gè)世紀(jì)攝影史的重要元素:攝影師必須在場(chǎng)。攝影是一種見(jiàn)證的形式,是將單一視角帶給整個(gè)世界的方式。正是圖片的力量,讓Alexander Gardner在1862年用馬載著他的暗箱來(lái)到安提塔姆之戰(zhàn),讓David Guttenfelder從2013年開(kāi)始深入朝鮮拍攝照片上傳到Instagram。戰(zhàn)地?cái)z影師James Nachtwey曾經(jīng)這樣說(shuō)過(guò),“你一直不停、不停地傳送照片,因?yàn)樗鼈兛梢詣?chuàng)造出存在改變可能的環(huán)境。我一直這樣相信?!?/p>
